Due to the fact that fungi live motionless, they have long been attributed to the plant kingdom, and only with the advent of microscopes in the 17th century it became clear that these organisms have the characteristics of animals, such as eating not sunlight but organic matter. It took another three centuries for the botanists to agree and separate them into a separate natural kingdom, which they named – Mushrooms.

This assortment presents the most valuable species of edible mushrooms:

-white – has the most nutritious properties. The protein in its composition in terms of nutritional value is comparable to the proteins of meat and eggs, and the level of phosphorus and calcium in fish meat;
-obabok or leccinum – the general name of the genus of fungi, commonly called boletus. In terms of taste, they take the second place, right after white mushrooms. Have a rich composition of amino acids and vitamins;
-real chanterelles contain unique carbohydrates – chitinmannose has anthelmintic action, ergosterol heals the liver. Contains natural carotene (vitamin A).

Common beneficial properties include the content of strong natural antioxidants (beta-glucans, melanin) and rich mineral composition.
